Today’s the big day – November 4, 2008.
Will Barack Obama’s slogan “The change we need” stick and carry him on to victory? Or will the U.S. Senator from Arizona, John McCain, take the seat of power?
We may officially know by the end of the night. The day is slowly winding down on my side of the nation, 7:00 PM, EST. Hopefully, many of you reading this took the opportunity to vote and voice your opinion.
Good luck!

Voted against the winner and I have no regrets. Obama may bring us change but I doubt it will be any change that we need. I’m just hoping for a quick 4 years without any major disasters in the process.
The one man that I felt could have helped initiate the necessary, permanent changes to our economy didn’t have a chance with the popularity of the Republican/Democratic parties at stake.
However, many Americans who believe that one man can fix economic disaster are in for one very rude awakening.

I had a hard time deciding on my vote. I felt one candidate was just a mirror of the last 8 years, and the other was an inexperienced big talker. We need to expand past the traditional parties if we really want to achieve that 2008 rant about ” change.”

All I can say is I sure wouldn’t want to hold the position of the presidency during this era. All that debt to manage. All those proposed bailout plans to sift through. All those citizens hunched over your back watching your every move and whispering whether or not it will really bring about change. Would I want to deal with all that pressure? Nooo thank you bobby!
